A quick update

Hello! It's been quiet around here lately due to several busy weeks and life changes. My grandmother passed away last week after many months of poor health and Karl and I moved to a new house in the same week. It's been a whirlwind of emotions and activity. I spend this past weekend and early part of this week in Kansas with my family where we shared many fond memories of my grandma Claire and joined together for a lovely memorial service. I treasure anytime spent with family and am so grateful we could all be together.

Karl held down the fort at home and helped finalize the transition into our new home. We've hauled lots of boxes up and down stairs, packed and unpacked and are loving the new place despite not having much furniture or our lives re-organized just yet. I look forward to posting lots of pictures of our progress soon and also trying some new decorating ideas and crafts I've bookmarked over on Pinterest. I have a feeling a few new tutorials will be coming this way in the next few weeks.
